The three electives are going great.  I’ve heard nothing but good things from all of you about Crown Financial, Boundaries, and the NOOMA series.  I had the opportunity to sit in on all three a little bit the past two Thursdays, and I know that you are hearing some really great truths from God’s Word – truths that you can apply to your life immediately.

The one question I keep hearing is this: “IS IT TOO LATE TO JOIN A GROUP?”  No, it’s not too late.  Here’s my recommendation.  If you are unable to attend this Thursday and haven’t attended yet, then when we return to our Bible studies (on February 21) after our Valentine’s Dinner next week, then I would recommend you attend the NOOMA series.  By the fourth week, you’ve missed too much in the Boundaries series and the Crown Financial series to catch up.  The NOOMA videos, on the other hand, are totally different lessons each Thursday.

And yes, we will be offering these electives again!

IMPORTANT REMINDER 

This Thursday (February 7), we will proceed as scheduled with our three electives.  But, next Thursday is February 14: Valentine’s Day!  We sold many tickets last Thursday, but there are still some available.  You can pick them up this Thursday when you come to MOSAIC, or if The Chapel is your church home, you can stop by the table on Sunday morning.  But don’t delay!  Get your ticket as soon as possible.  Not only will this guarantee you a seat at the Valentine’s Dinner, but it will greatly assist in planning – i.e. how much food to buy.  And because of the need to plan for how many people will be attending, there will be no tickets sold at the door!  You must pre-purchase your ticket by Sunday, February 10.  We want this to be an incredibly fun evening for you, so we want to iron out all the wrinkles before the night of the dinner.  Thanks for your help with that.

We’re featuring Prime Rib – no, that’s not a typo – and it will be outstanding!  I don’t know where you can get a better deal than a Prime-Rib-Valentine’s-Day-Dinner for ONLY $8.  You can’t beat that!  And the married couples of our MOSAIC community have been so gracious to volunteer and serve the Singles on that special evening.  We are going to have such a great time together.  So make sure you get your ticket from Joe no later than this Sunday, February 10.

My devotions this morning brought me to Philippians chapter 1.  Verses 3 and 4 say, “I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy.”  And how true that verse is in my heart and life today.  Know that I’m praying for you, and I’m thankful for all your prayers for me.
